Peggy Dorsey is a Sr. Loan Officer for SMI Residential Mortgage, she has been a loan officer since 2002.  Peggy’s approach to mortgages includes an overall financial strategy where the client’s mortgage is in synergy with the client’s overall financial goals.  Peggy has a very strong financial planning background.  She graduated from Texas Christian University in December 1990 with a BBA in Accounting.  She was employed by Union Pacific Resources, a $7.2 billion independent oil & gas company, from 1991 - 2000 where her primary responsibility was production planning.  She managed a $250 million capital spending budget as well as providing financial and business advice and analysis. From 2000 – 2002 Peggy was the Vice President of Finance for Stroud Oil Properties, a private independent oil & gas company.  Her primary responsibilities were to provide executive leadership, including financial strategies, tax management, risk management, and the management of financial resources.
